This character design assignment includes a character lineup, with character turnaround and expression sheets, and at last final concept art with characters within the environment.

I find this task the most challenging by far, yet it was enjoyable to breathe life into the characters.

Sisterhood
The story is taken place in 19th-century China, where two sisters ran away together from their abusive father, and eventually embarked on a journey, while seeking the means to survive in a patriarchal society. Below are the turnaround and expression sheets of the two original characters I created, and the work process of the final art featuring characters in an environment, it is challenging to give life to characters but it is a fun assignment overall.

is rather timid and always melancholic, not the most optimistic person. However, she stands up for herself in critical situations. She has a heart of gold despite the trials and tribulations being thrown at her.
