Hello everyone! My name is Balsa Cheng, and I was born and raised in Hong Kong. I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, majoring in illustration with a concentration in animated illustration and publication design.

I aspire to become a professional in the illustration industry since the day I picked up my pen to draw. I began to draw digitally when I first owned my IPad and laptop in late 2020, and I haven't found a better tool to create digital art. Besides creating illustrations, I enjoy visiting museums, watching historical documentaries, and learning art history.

Not only did I fall in love with Chinese art because of its long and rich history, but also to engage with my Chinese roots. Under the influence of Chinese art, philosophy, and literature, I want to create tranquility in my art.

I do editorial illustrations, book illustrations, and even character design for animation and games. I love challenging myself to test my limits, so I would love to take any illustration job in the future!

I am still grinding and working hard to perfect my craft!
